I love in home sessions! Nothing beats documenting people in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable! When I received Loz's email a few months ago I was so excited that she was interested in booking one of my in home sessions, and in celebration of her beautiful little girl, Elkie's first birthday! Which made it even more special!
Thank you Rob, Loz & Elkie for inviting me into your home and for letting me document such a special time in your gorgeous families life.
EMMA & JOHN | FAR SOUTH COAST WEDDING FESTIVAL
When I received an email with a very familiar name at the top of it, I was over the moon that my beautiful friend Emma had even considered me to document her wedding day. I met Emma a few years ago in my fashion photography days. She is a talented all-rounder and is a jack of all trades. Emma's sister Brooke has modeled for me numerous times, and Emma being the awesome girl she is has assisted on many shoots, doing hair, styling and creating a whole lot of laughs. Emma's other sister Jayde is also a friend of mine as she runs the wedding and events at a local venue that I shoot quite a lot at. Plus Emma's Mum, Sheralyn, is one of my biggest fans!
When Emma asked me to be a part of her and John's day I was so excited. I knew whatever Emma & John had planned would be amazing and so special, because they are both such caring and beautiful people. Their day was nothing less than mind blowing-ly amazing!
Emma & John's wedding took place on a property on the far South Coast of New South Wales in an area known as Runnyford. Chancey (the name of the property) is actually Emma & John's little slice of heaven. It is situated out in the bush, with a beautiful river and a beautiful drive in. The pair basically built their whole wedding venue and although there might have been a few hiccups along the way with all the wet weather in the lead-up, the pair built the most incredible structure, with the help of their new neighbors(the week before the wedding) to seat them and their many guests.
Emma being the creative and talented soul that she is, designed and hand made her bridesmaids dresses, the flower girls dress(which was actually a mini version of Emma's gorgeous dress) , John's vest, and the matching page boys vest too! Emma and her bridesmaids designed and styled the whole event, including the beautiful table scapes, all the floral design and even made the napkins!!
The day was incredible! Actually, I think incredible is an understatement. It was beyond amazing.
Not only for all the beautiful details, or the stunning location or any of that. But because it was two incredibly amazing families, both being Irish, coming together to celebrate the love that they share. Plus what do you get when you put together two awesome Irish families? A whole lot of love, laughter, mud, singing, and dancing. As well as THE LONGEST party! In fact, the following morning we were still sitting by the fire, and even after I had left, they still went on for a few more days!
Now that is what I call a WEDSTIVAL!

The morning after....
New Zealand has to be one of my favourite places in the world, especially the Otago region! Queenstown, Wanaka, Gibbston Valley and of course, Arrowtown are just a few of my favourite place and recently I got to spend some time shooting, exploring and hanging out with some amazing photographers! During the trip, I got to shoot Hannah & Hayden as part of the workshop that I was attending!
Check out the film I made below!
My favourite kind of photos are those that tell a story, those that when put together, are like the turning pages of a book.
A month or so ago I ran a giveaway over on my Instagram and Mel & Alex were the winners. We chatted and decided to wait a few weeks until their two little men entered the world to do the session. And seriously?! How cute are the boys!?
A few days ago I got to hang out and shoot Bree & Rob!
We were so undecided whether or not to postpone the shoot due to weather and decided 5 minutes before we had to leave, to just roll with it and embrace the rain, and I am SO glad that we did! The mountain was foggy and had been pitter-pattering away with rain all day.
Bring on the wedding in August!!
MELINDA + EVAN
I first met Melinda & Evan a few months ago now one evening over a coffee and a few tea's to discuss their plans for their wedding. Recently I got to spend an afternoon shooting the pair on the beautiful South Coast for their engagement session. It was such an awesome afternoon with loads of real belly laughs and fun!
I can not wait to shoot their wedding day in August! Bring it on!!
I got to spend such a beautiful afternoon with these two love birds, chatting away, whitnessing the most beautiful love between the pair as well as their little girl who is yet to be born. After postponing their session multiple times due to rain and wind earlier in the week, I am secretly glad we did! The sunset we got was epic and the location, which was actually our second option, was the perfect place for these two to just melt together.
I got to spend an afternoon with these two lovebirds before they celebrated their engagement with their closest friends and family at Humber in Wollongong. They kept apologising for not being use to having their photo taken, but I think they killed it! All you have to do is be in love and be yourself and the rest is easy!
Congratulations Luke & Laura on your engagement!
This Sydney Mint Wedding was my first at the venue and I am so glad that I got to experience it in the drizzly weather that Sydney turned on for us. Driving to Sydney the morning of Dee & Nicola's wedding, i sipped on a warm cappuccino, while my window wipers were working in over drive. The weather was cold, cooler then usual, and the earth was wet from all the rain that had fallen in probably one of the wettest Sydney Summer's we have had in a long time. The traffic was backed up and the city was alive with pedestrians and an array of colourful umbrellas.
The wedding itself was magical. A day filled with two incredibly beautiful, different and fun loving families joining together, merging cultures, hilariously witty speeches (Yes Nicola, I am talking about you) and a whole lot of dancing!
Nicola and her gorgeous bridesmaids wore some of the most amazing dresses i've ever seen. Nicola wore a beautiful Self Portrait dress and her girls were dressed in the rad label that is Dyspnea! Which, by the way, Nicola changed into a white version later on, to get down and boogie! Dee wore one of THE most beautiful jackets I have ever seen, by the awesome guys over at Peter Jackson.
So here is to Nicola & Dee, and their incredibly awesome wedding day!
