Adventure to Uluru | Personal 2023

I’d like to acknowledge the traditional landowners of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, the Anangu people and pay my respects, to elders past, present and emerging.

This year was the year of rest and recovery. Over the last few years since we slowed down during the dreaded “c”, its been on the forefront of my mind to slow down, enjoy life, adventure with my family and seek my own memories more and more.
Being a wedding photographer has taught me how precious life is, and not only that, but how important it is to soak in my own moments and stories, and not just live to tell others.
Photography has and always will be just an extension of who i am as a person and being able to tell my own stories as well as others will always be important to me.
This year our aim as a family was to experience more and to really relish in these years before they go by too fast. Our trip to Uluru had been planned for some time. A bucket list place for me and somewhere i had felt a real calling to go to and experience.

It was just as magical as i knew it would be.

”We ask you to listen carefully when visiting Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Let the knowledge you hear come through your ears, into your mind, and settle in your heart.”

Being able to visit and experience this truly sacred land was an absolute privilege.

We spent our time staying at the beautiful Sails Resort in Yulara and exploring all that Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park had to offer.
We watched the Sunsets and sunrises daily, and made it our mission to soak in as much of this magical time as possible. They say that Uluru changes every day and the light completely transforms it. They were not wrong.
We had some truly magical experiences within Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park , all of which words could never be enough.

So enjoy this photos from my personal collection x
